JUSTICE BAFFOE-BONNIE IS PRESIDENT MAHAMA'S SURROGATE IN THE LONG GAME TO CONTROL THE JUDICIARY

I have been compelled by the statements allegiance to President Mahama by Chief Justice Paul Kwadwo Baffoe-Bonnie who succeeded Mrs. Justice Torkornoo in his address to the staff of the Minerals Income Investment Fund (MIIF) on 2 September 2026 take a second look at whether any lessons have been learnt from the first removal process of a Chief Justice by petition in Ghana’s history in the hope that President Mahama would reassess the direction in which this country is headed.
